Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 2.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948. They are cross-hatched and aligned in two different directions broadly cross-contour, in a plot depicted with orchard trees on the late-19th century OS maps and named as orchard on the Tithe maps. They are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation, which went out of use in the 20th century.
