A linear ditched earthwork is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as an earthwork and cropmark on the south-east facing slopes at Coburg, Chudlegh. The visible earthwork does not correspond with any field boundary depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but is in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern. The boundary is interpreted as being probably of post-medieval origin and was probably removed prior to circa 1840. The plot is now developed for housing and the former boundary probably levelled.
