The visible earthworks do not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the OS 1880s First Edition map.

A curvilinear bank is visible in the flood plain of the River Teign as an earthwork up to 7m wide on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1964. The bank does not correspond with any field boundary depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but does follow the parish boundary between Hennock and Kingsteignton for approximately 130m. A line of trees depicted following the parish boundary further to the north-east is probably evidence of grown out hedgerow planting, supporting the interpretation of the relict earthwork as a former field boundary bank that had been cleared by the mid-19th century.
The earthwork is not readily identifiable on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2015 and may have been levelled.
