One of 25 pillow mounds on south Yartor Down, around 450 metres north of the River Dart. Overlying the Dartmeet parallel reave system, these mounds are part of the Vaghill Warren. Oblong in shape, length measures 19.2 metres by 5.6 metres wide by 1.4 metres high.

Visited 03/01/2019. Although dense, impenetrable gorse covers much of the lower, western slopes of Vag Hill, these features (including pillow mounds) are described as relatively free of vegetation.
