A trackway is shown at the southwest extent of the earthwork hollow.

An earthwork linear hollow, circa 420m long by 12m wide and northeast to southwest aligned are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthwork does not correspond with any features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map but does coincide with a trackway shown at its southwest extent. The hollow is therefore interpreted as a possible post-medieval trackway which originally connected the former dwelling of Skiddle (MDV71067) in the southwest to George Teign Barton (MDV9291) in the northeast, but which had partly fallen out of use by the mid-19th century.
