Full description
White, A., 2009, Structural Appraisal, Arsenic Works, Devon Great Consols, Tamar Valley, Tavistock, Devon, 6-7, figs 20-22 (Report - Survey). SDV347876.
Structural appraisal provided of flues at SX 42569 73276 (calciner and furnace to condenser). Location of the flues shown on enclosed drawing but a considerable amount of the system is buried (indicated by dotted lines). Where visible, adjacent to the condensers, the flues are of stone masonry; the crow and tops are no longer extant. Some of the ironwork to the flue regulators is still standing (see photographs).
