Summary
Seventy six sherds of probable Early Neolithic pottery were found in August 2000 in an eroded surface just to the south of a hut circle at North End. Sixty one pieces of blade and flake debitage and a leaf arrowhead were also recovered. The pottery assemblage included two rounded rim sherds and all appeared to have been made on the island.

Seventy six sherds of probable Early Neolithic pottery were found in August 2000 in an eroded surface just to the south of a hut circle at North End. Sixty one pieces of blade and flake debitage and a leaf arrowhead were also recovered. The pottery assemblage included two rounded rim sherds from thin-walled vessels (P1, 2) and a carinated sherd. All appeared to have been made on the island. See article for further details.
