An oval enclosure, possible a castle, is visible as earthworks on LiDAR imagery and also as a cropmark on modern aerial photos. The northern end was formerly fossilised in a field boundary.

Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

The northern end of the enclosure is fossilised in the curve of a field boundary.
