Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Two ranges of farm buildings depicted orientated north-south. To the south on the other side of a large pond is another range, orientationed east-west.

Chevithorne Barton marked. The map shows the farmstead to have been enlarged. The western of the two ranges depicted on the Tithe Map has gone, the other incorporated into a much larger courtyard arrangment. Similarly the southern range has been rebuilt or incoporated into a double row of south facing linhays with yards in front.
