Full description
South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.
Plots 982-984 depicted on the 1840s Walkhampton Tithe Map; named 'Keagles Borough', 'Higher Lambers Park', and 'Lower Lambers Park' respectively. Owned by Sir Ralph Lopes, occupied by Walter Andrew.

Lambers Park (also known as Keaglesborough) and the enclosure to the east, Keaglesborough form a separate estate. This estate may be the croft of land included in a lease of 1565 associated with the blowing mill at Keaglesborough (citing Mike Brown, 2001). This land is likely to have been recently enclosed at this time. The enclosures for Lambers Park may have extended to the lower side of Norsworthy Lane as indicated by the wall at the lower, south-western corner of the present enclosure. Prior to enclosure, Norsworthy Lane may have run just below its present course and rerouted higher as Kingsett Gert expanded uphill.
