Information submitted with a planning application for conversion to a cafe shows the building to be a two storey gable-ended stone barn with a slate roof. The roof structure has three scissor trusses. The front (east side) of the barn has three entrances each with a stone lintel, opening on to a concrete yard surrounded by a stone wall.
