A curvilinear bank circa 40 metres in length and between circa 7 and 9 metres in width is visible as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 and 2019. The bank is orientated approximately east to west within west facing landscaped grounds south of the mid-18th century Maristow House (MDV111604; MDV4050).
The bank does not correspond to any features depicted on the available historic maps. It is situated adjacent to a modern tennis court (MDV114476).
The bank is interpreted as a field boundary of medieval to post-medieval origin that was probably removed as part of the creation of the parkland. Alternatively, the bank could be modern, created during the establishment of the tennis court.
