Full description

Burleigh, D., 2003, A Report on the Historic Chest Tombs in the Churchyard of St. Giles Church, Sidbury, Devon, No. 6 (Report - non-specific). SDV348681.

Chest tomb of Beer stone with a chamfered lid. In memory of Joseph Kinse(?). Situated under a yew tree, the tomb is partially covered by soil and has subsided. Two of the corners are fractured and the lid is lifting due to rusting iron cramps. It is infested with ivy.
