Full description

Burleigh, D., 2003, A Report on the Historic Chest Tombs in the Churchyard of St. Giles Church, Sidbury, Devon, No. 10 (Report - non-specific). SDV348681.

Chest tomb of Beer stone with a flat lid with moulded edges. There is no visible inscription but it is dated to the 19th century. One corner of the monument is missing and ivy is causing damage, forcing the plinth course out of place. Rusting iron cramps are also causing problems.
