Summary

Stowford farm cottage, extant, 18-19th century. Vis=estimated -/-/1978 (hankin, c. F. ). East side of ivybridge-harford road, in the lane which leads to stowford moor gate. Pre 1838, but the age of the building is unknown. The tithe map shows a small habitation on the site but it is recorded in the ta in the item 'mansion house, buildings, farm, court, pond & c' (ta 43) which is stowford barton. Of rectangular plan, single depth, and stone built.
