Summary
Earthwork remains of medieval or later tin works situated on the lower slopes of a rounded knoll. Archaeological field surveys in 1999 and 2006 recorded a scattered group of 30 or more prospecting pits, 2 metres to 3 metres in diameter with slight spoil banks on the downslope sides.

Full description
Fletcher, M. + Newman, P. + Probert, S., 1999, Drizzlecombe, Eylesbarrow, Ditsworthy and Hartor areas in the Plym Valley, West Devon (Report - Survey). SDV346268.
(23/07/1999) A scattered group of 30 plus tin pits located on the lower slopes of a rounded knoll and centred at SX 5832 6781. The pits are mostly small, being on average 2-3m diameter with slight spoil banks on the downslope sides.
