A series of closely parallel approximately north to south orientated linear banks circa 5m apart are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The banks correspond with a plot recorded as 'Rex Plot Orchard' in the Tithe Survey. By the First Edition OS map, the orchard has passed out of use. The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use prior to circa 1840.
