The banks correspond with plots recorded as 'Mouse Orchard' and an orchard called 'Moorlands' (Plots 52 and 71).

A series of closely parallel north-west to south-east orientated linear banks circa 5m apart are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The banks correspond with plots recorded as 'Mouse Orchard' and an orchard called 'Moorlands' in the Tithe Survey. The banks correspond with a plot of orchard depicted on the First Edition OS map and depicted on subsequent maps until the mid-20th century. The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use by the mid-20th century.
