A series of parallel linear banks circa 5m apart are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016 and 2019. The banks are divided into two sections, one where the banks are orientated north-west to south-east, and one where the banks are orientated approximately east to west. They correspond to a plot recorded as an orchard on the Tithe Map, and depicted as an orchard on the First and Second Edition OS maps south of the former Roundball Farm (MDV72665). Aerial photographs dating to the 1940s show the orchard to have passed out of use, but the banks are visible as earthworks.
The banks are interpreted as planting ridges for orchard trees of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that passed out of use by the mid-20th century.
