Full description
Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, I. S. Sainsbury (Report - Survey). SDV350839.
(24/10/1988) At SX 65347545, on a gentle SW slope at about 395m OD, is a probable hut circle. The internal diameter is 8.0m, enclosed by a turf and heather covered bank of stones. This has a maximum height of 0.3m and is 1.5m wide, with a crescentic outer scarp representing the lower SE side. A break of 1.2m in the W may indicate the entrance.
About 4m W of the hut a N-S bank extends for 52m. It is at least 0.2m if height and 1m wide and may be contemporary.
