SX 735688 Mine Shaft and Spoil Heap
The shaft and spoil heap are associated with the Queen of the Dart mine workings. They are located just within Shere Wood boundary.
The mine shaft is important in a local context. Important to be aware of this shaft when carrying out operations within this area. A new fence should be constructed around the shaft for safety reasons. The area should be excluded from any new planting.
