Summary

A square enclosure defined by an earthwork bank and ditch are visible on lidar imagery northeast of West Raddon, associated with an earthwork field boundary bank. The enclosure and bank may be of Iron Age or Romano-British origin but the bank is likely to be later in date.

Cropmarks appear to show at least part of the enclosure.

A square enclosure approximately 50m square is visible on images derived from lidar data and Google Earth images of 2020.

A square enclosure approximately 50m square is visible on images derived from lidar data and Google Earth images of 2020. The bank defining the eastern side of the enclosure is overlain by a north to south aligned curvilinear bank.

Earthworks visible forming a square enclosure, Iron Age or Romano-British in date. The sides each measure approx. 45 metres in length.

A dark cropmark of a probable buried ditch is visible defining a square enclosure.

The eastern side of the enclosure appears to abut or be incorporated into a curvilinear boundary bank. This may be contemporary with the enclosure but is more probably of medieval date.
