Marchand, J., 2006, Archaeology within Scae Wood, 4 (Report - Survey). SDV365026.
Walkover survey visit in 2006 recorded a sunken lane (hollow way) running through Scae Wood to a former fording place across the River Mardle. Important in a local context, it should be kept clear of future planting works in the wood and not damaged.
