(09/07/1979) At SX 67416064 there is a ruined hut circle, visible as a circular platform 4.7 metres in diameter, set into a north slope to a depth of 0.4 metres. The platform is edged with a few stones protruding from the turf but the entrance is not visible. The hut type is indeterminate. Found during field work. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD.

Hut Circle '6' at 'Corringdon Ball field system' is in the south-west corner of a D-shaped enclosure with a further hut circle to the south-east.

This stone hut circle is one of two on the southern slope of Corringdon Ball, north of Corringdon Farm. It lies south of the contemporary field or reave system on Corringdon Ball and forms part of a concentration of occupation evidence surviving in the area. The hut circle is 9 metres in diameter and has walls 1 metre in thickness and 0.5 metres in height, with an entrance to the south.
