Summary

Hollows, ditches and possible banks are visible to the east of Elmscott, Hartland, as subtle earthworks on lidar-derived images. They have been interpreted as possible evidence of a deserted settlement, potentially of medieval date, but a function as drainage of post-medieval date may be more likely.
