Summary

Curvilinear banks are visible as earthworks on lidar derived images defining a possible rectilinear enclosure potentially of prehistoric date, on the tip of the south-west facing spur to the south-east of Whitnage, Sampford Peverell.

Earthwork bank and ditch, plus additional segments, at end of ridge. Potential to be removed field boundary but scale of earthworks seems large for this. Possible that the historic field pattern to the east fossilises a pre-existing earthwork?
