Full description
University of Exeter, 2020-2021, University of Exeter Unlocking Landscapes Project – validated data, ULDEV140 (Interpretation). SDV365999.
A possible barrow circa 12m diameter is visible. It is in the same area as MDV7365 which is recorded as a barrow but for which an alternative interpretation as a prospect mound has been suggested.

With ‘The Mount’ (MDV7365) the visible earthworks form a linear group of four possible barrows crossing the contours of the hill. In this configuration they are more likely to represent a small barrow cemetery rather than ornamental landscape features of post-medieval date.
