Linear and curvilinear ditches located between Teign View Barn and the River Teign are likely to represent evidence of a former water meadow of probable post-medieval date. This incorporates MDV57623 previously recorded as evidence for a watermeadow. In the field to the south of MDV57623, monument MDV57624 records a palaeochannel; the earthwork ditches visible in this plot are clearly an system and might represent an extension of the watermeadow recorded to the north.
