Summary

A possible rectilinear enclosure of probable prehistoric to Roman date is visible on images derived from lidar data as a very slight earthwork ditch and bank to the north of Timber Wood, North Huish parish.

Faint traces of a rectilinear enclosure on a flat spur. Three sides are visible as a spread earthwork bank, with suggestions of an external ditch. It is possible that the northwest and western sides are fossilised by extant hedgebanks. Minimum internal dimension of c40m.
