Summary

A possible enclosure potentially of later prehistoric date, is visible on images derived from lidar data as an earthwork bank and ditch defining an oval area approximately 125m by 70m in size at the summit of the hill northwest of Butshill Copse, Torbay. A dark cropmark forming over a probable ditch is visible on images derived from aerial photographs.

Ovoid earthwork enclosure comprising a banks and ditch, measuring 125 x 70m, above Butshill Copse. Ditch shows as cropmark on Google Earth satellite imagery of various dates.
