Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Buildings are depicted on the Tithe Map for Clawton parish.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

A buildings, possibly a house, has been cleared and a pond created either on the building plot or within the associated yard.

A possible shrunken settlement is visible. Buildings shown on the Tithe map but not later maps may have had medieval origin.
