Summary

Curvilinear and linear banks, probably former field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval date, are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data, to the west of Curworthy Farm, Inwardleigh. The banks have been interpreted as possible evidence of a formerly more extensive settlement.

The banks have been interpreted as possible evidence of a shrunken settlement but are more probably simply former infield boundaries that predate the Tithe Map for Inwardleigh.
