Summary

A slight ditch or hollow is visible on images derived from lidar data as a subtle earthwork on the southeast-facing slopes of Torcorn Hill, Broadhempston parish, southwest of Bickaton. The earthwork has been interpreted as evidence of a possible oval enclosure, potentially of prehistoric date but is more likely to represent a former track of medieval or post-medieval origin.

A possible ditch up to 10m wide is visible as a slight earthwork, possibly enclosing an oval area up to 35m across. The ditch respects the corner of a field boundary of possible medieval origin, and may represent a former track between fields.
