Summary

A mound is visible on images derived from lidar data as a low circular earthwork up to approximately 20m in diameter on the eastern crest of the ridge to the southeast of Cole’s Cross, East Allington. The mound has been interpreted as evidence of a possible barrow of Bronze Age date.

A mound up to circa 20m in diameter is visible as a slight earthwork.

The mound is visible as a low circular earthwork up to approximately 20m in diameter around which a more diffuse earthwork is visible, up to 35m across, that may represent plough-spread mound material.
