A bank is visible as an earthwork defining a rectilinear enclosure approximately 35m long and 30m wide.

Hegarty, C., 2024, Comment on Unlocking Landscapes project interpretation (Personal Comment). SDV366085.

The visible enclosure corresponds to field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for East Allington and the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch map and is probably of medieval to post-medieval origin. However, it is possible that the medieval or post-medieval field pattern incorporated earlier boundaries.
