A possible mound up to approximately 10m in diameter is visible as a circular earthwork on images derived from lidar data and a cropmark on images derived from aerial photographs captured in 2017, on the northwest facing slopes of a combe to the south of South Allington, Chivelstone parish. The mound has been interpreted as a possible barrow of Bronze Age date.
