Full description
Edwards, M. + Trick, S., 2023, Land at Venn Farm, Sowton, Devon: An Archaeological Magnetometer Survey (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV366098.
Substrata were commissioned by Cotswold Archaeology in 2023 to conduct an archaeological magnetometer survey of c. 19 hectares of land at Venn Farm on the outskirts of Exeter in Devon. Forty-one geophysical anomaly groups were detected of which all were interpreted as representing potential buried archaeological deposits.
In area D, anomaly Group 38 may be an enclosure of uncertain date. Group 39 may be a contemporary division within this.
