A ditched enclosure of probable prehistoric or Romano-British date is visible as a dark cropmark on aerial photographs of 2020, on the south facing slopes to the north-west of Boehill Farm. The cropmarks define the south-east corner of a rectilinear enclosure up to 25m across, the enclosure possibly continuing under the extant field boundary in to the plot to the north. Cropmarks might indicate a number of internal features, possibly pits, within the enclosed area.
