A ditched enclosure of probable prehistoric or Romano-British date is visible as a dark cropmark on aerial photographs of 2020, on the gentle south-east facing slopes on the ridge to the north of Livaton. The cropmarks define the south-west side of a rectilinear enclosure up to 26m across, the enclosure possibly continuing under the extant field boundary in to the plot to the north.
