A ditched enclosure of probable later prehistoric or Romano-British date is visible as a faint dark cropmark on aerial photographs of 2020, on the on the south facing slopes to the east of Four Cross Ways, south-east of North Tawton village. The cropmarks are 2 to 3m wide and define a circular enclosure approximately 8m square. The function of the enclosure is unknown, but it may be funerary in origin.
