A ditched enclosure of probable prehistoric or Romano-British date is visible as a dark cropmark on aerial photographs of 2020. The cropmarks are up to 2.5m wide and define a rectilinear enclosure approximately 55m by 45m in size. The projected south-eastern corner of the enclosure is not visible as a cropmark and probably extends under the line of the extant field boundary.
