A mound circa 15m in diameter is visible as a subtle earthwork.

A mound is visible on images derived from lidar data as a roughly circular earthwork up to approximately 15m in diameter, to the north-west of Bampfylde Clump, North Molton. It may be the near plough-levelled remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date, potentially forming part of a dispersed group on Bampfylde Hill. Slight evidence for an enclosing ditch is visible to surrounding the mound.
