A mound is visible as an earthwork.

A mound is visible on images derived from lidar data as an earthwork up to approximately 14m in diameter, near the summit of the hill immediately south of Butterball Copse. The mound may be the remains of clearance cairn associated with nearby field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date but could be earlier in origin.
