Four mounds are visible as low earthworks.
Hegarty, C., 2025, Comment on Unlocking Landscapes project and related lidar and aerial photograph interpretations (Interpretation). SDV366411.
Four linear mounds or banks between 33 and 53m long and up to approximately 9m wide are visible on images derived from lidar data as earthworks on the west-facing slopes north of Coulsworthy Farm. The earthworks are aligned roughly west-east, crossing the contours of the slope, and are situated within two plots identified as the probable location of a former rabbit warren. They are interpreted as the remains of artificial rabbit burrows known as pillow mounds. The mound located at SS61934544 is the most clearly define, the remaining three appearing more eroded in condition. The mounds overlay the remains of strip field boundaries of probable medieval origin and are therefore probably medieval to post-medieval in date.
Horner, B., 2025, Lidar interpretation (Personal Comment). SDV366415.
Possibly an E-W oriented pillow mound at c. SS619454. Hints of more nearby.
