Hegarty, C., 2025, Comment on Unlocking Landscapes project and related lidar and aerial photograph interpretations (Interpretation). SDV366411.

Curvilinear earthwork banks are visible on images derived from lidar data to the north-west and south-west of Loxhore. The banks correspond in part to former field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Loxhore. However, the earthwork evidence supports an interpretation of a strip field system more extensive than indicated by the historic maps. This might support the interpretation of settlement shrinkage at Loxhore.
