Cox, J. + Thorp, J. R. L., 2020, Cuddenhay, East Worlington (Report - Survey). SDV363881.

Linhay, which has been much altered, built against the east end of the farmhouse. It is shown on the 1842 Tithe Map and probably dates to the early 19th century. It faces south, the rear, north wall backing onto a narrow service yard. This is built of cob on low rubble stone footings and is now supported by a 20th century buttress. The east end wall appears to have been rebuilt. The building was originally open-fronted with a thatch roof but the tallet floor (hayloft) was removed in the second half of the 20th century and a new shed built in front of concrete blockwork under a low pitch lean-to roof. The new front has two wide full height openings. The linhay was originally 5 bays but only the two outer posts now remain standing on stone pads. The original roof structure is still extant, now clad with corrugated iron.
