Robinson, R., 1977-1979, South Brent Parish Checklist Worksheets (Worksheet). SDV340722.
A possible barrow exists in a field (Ordnance Survey number: 1699). It is close against the south-western field boundary which is unaltered since the tithe apportionment survey in 1843, when the field was number 2363, and the name Burrow Park, in a holding of land named Burland which also included number 2361 Bridge Park, 2367 Burland Meadow and 2371 Brook Park.

SX 71456247. Round barrow in south-west corner of grass field, the hedge of which is angled to avoid it. The barrow measures 20 metres in diameter and 1.2 metres high. Visited on 30/06/1977. Other details: No 13.

This barrow was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
