Summary

Frithelstock priory - site of cloisters. Vis=-/-/1932 (radford). East wall of prior's house and position of church fix two sides of cloisters but other two are uncertain. Vis=14/12/1953 (os). Angle between the two features is grass covered. Probable course of other two sides could not be determined. Vis=4/11/1986 (weddell). The north side is probably defined by the existing building and the east side by the projected width of the east range. The area of the cloister earth is now paved with flags and concrete but cobbles were present before these were laid (weddell).
