On the south side of the A361 Bampton road just east of mole bridge, a two-storey tollhouse, similar to the single storey ones at Rackenford and Exeter Gate.

Former toll house, now Flower Cottage. Built in the 19th century for the South Molton Turnpike Trust. The original lodge-type cottage has been extended and modernised so that only the canted bay at the front is indicative of its former function.
