St. Mary. Chiefly 15th century; Beer Stone arcade with well-carved capitals bearing shield of arms (including the Arms of Courtenay). A good rood screen c1450. Some ancient carved bench ends and Queen Anne altar rails, and pulpit with sounding board. There is some medieval glass in the north aisle and a splendid panelled and coloured roof with bosses.

Church of St. Mary. 15C and early 16C thoroughly refurbished in 1889. Local stone rubble with beerstone and volcanic ashlar dressings and detail. Hamstone used 19C in chancel; tile roof. Nave with lower chancel, north aisle is nearly full length and 19C vestry in the angle of aisle and chancel. West tower and south porch. Good interior, although heavily refurbished in 1887.
